14-year-old George Kidd starred with an unbeaten 113 as the young crop of new talent led the way in the 2nd XI victory over Old Colfeians. There were additional contributions from U15 players Archie Ralph-Harding (53), Tom Marshall (52), Nathan Fox (31) as well as a further half-century from Luke Palmer (53) as Broadstairs posted a record-breaking 358.
The successful defence of this huge total was never in doubt and Old Colfeians were bowled out for 152 with wickets shared amongst Bradley Ellison (4), Oliver Frewin (2), Ashley Ellison (2), Archie Ralph-Harding (1) amd Callum McCormick (1).
