Victory at last for the 1st XI whilst 2nd XI narrowly defeated

The 1st XI eased to victory over Tenterden, bringing to an end a run of 5 straight defeats. Broadstairs posted 230-7 with key contributions from Scott Narraway, Jack Wheeler, Matt Frewin and Jamie Dewell.

Tenterden were restricted to 134 all out within 33 overs with Bradley Ellison (4-40) and new overseas Jayojit Basu (3-31 leading the  bowling attack.

The 2nd XI lost in a tight game away to Canterbury CC. Chasing a target of 240, they were all out for 214 after 50 overs with teenager Joe McCaffrey (54*) recording his first half-century for the team.
